تو میں نے کہا میری شدید ترین خواہش ہے کہ میں اس گھر میں صرف ایک دن آپ کی بیٹی بن کر گزارنہ چاہتی ہو آپ بھی مجھے اپنی بیٹی سمجھیں 

کیا برداشت کر لیں گی آپ ؟ ساسو ماں نہ سمجھی کی حالت میں بولی، کیوں نہیں میں تو تمھیں بیٹی ہی سمجھتی ہو بیٹی سمجھ کر ہی بیاہ کر لائی تھی تم نہ سمجھو تو الگ بات ہے 

میں نے کہا آپ نے ایک گھنٹہ بھی پورا نہیں کرنا اور آپ نے فوری ساس بن جانا ہے 

تو ساسو ماں پوچھنے لگیں کیوں بیٹی بن کر کیا کرنا چاہتی ہو,,,

میں نے جواب دیا میں اپنی مرضی کا دن گزارنا چاہتی ہوں,,,

آپ کے سامنے بیٹھ کر دن بھر ٹی وی دیکھنا چاہتی ہوں,,,

آپ کچھ کہیں تو آپ کو ٹھوک کر جواب دینا چاہتی ہوں، اونچا میوزک سننا چاہتی ہوں، آپ کی آواز کو اگنور کرنا چاہتی ہوں، کمرے میں آنے پر آپ کو کہنا چاہتی ہوں، جاتے ہوے دروازہ بند کر جائیں، لائٹ آف کر جائیں، چائے کا ایک کپ بنا دیں,,,

کل میری دوست آ رہی ہیں ان کے لیے بریانی آپ نے بنانی ہے، اور وہ سب کچھ جو آپ کی بیٹیاں میرے سامنے کرتی ہیں

اور آپ کو ان کی ہر بات پر پیار اور میری ان ہی باتوں پر غصہ آتا ہے ,,, 

ساسو ماں کو چڑھتا آیا غصہ اور فوری پیر پیچھے کھینچ لیے اور کہنے لگیں
