The age of Marriage

Once accompanied Abu Jan to Indus Hospital where Abu was examined by a young lady doctor who was beautiful as well as very polite, treated all the patients very well, and was thorough. Abu was also examined in detail. Abu has the problem of both blood pressure and sugar and since we were traveling that day, by chance, Abu had not taken the medicine for both of them, so his blood pressure was also high and sugar was high.  Even so, that lady doctor started getting angry with Abu Jan with such authority like her daughter-in-law or daughter that you don’t take medicine on time, you don’t take care of your health, etc. and I was standing by and watching all this.

ایک دفعہ ابو جان کے ساتھ انڈس ہسپتال جانا ہوا جہاں ابو کا معائنہ ایک نوجوان خاتون ڈاکٹر نے کیا جو خوبصورت ہونے کے ساتھ ساتھ بہت شائستہ بھی تھی، تمام مریضوں کے ساتھ بہت اچھا سلوک کرتی تھی، اور بہت اچھی تھی۔ ابو کا بھی تفصیل سے جائزہ لیا گیا۔ ابو کو بلڈ پریشر اور شوگر دونوں کا مسئلہ تھا اور چونکہ ہم اس دن سفر کر رہے تھے، اتفاق سے ابو نے ان دونوں کی دوائی نہیں لی تھی، اس لیے ان کا بلڈ پریشر بھی ہائی تھا اور شوگر بھی ہائی تھی۔ اس کے باوجود وہ لیڈی ڈاکٹر ابو جان سے اپنی بہو یا بیٹی جیسے اختیار سے ناراض ہونے لگی کہ آپ دوائی وقت پر نہیں لیتے، صحت کا خیال نہیں رکھتے وغیرہ وغیرہ۔ اور میں پاس کھڑا یہ سب دیکھ رہا تھا۔

اسی دوران ایک ڈسپنسر نے اس لیڈی ڈاکٹر کو کہا

"ڈاکٹر۔ سدرہ پلیز

اس مریض کی رپورٹ چیک کریں۔ ڈاکٹر سدرہ کا نام سنتے ہی میرے دل میں پیدا ہونے والی نیکی کے جذبے نے بروس لی والی قلابازی کھائی اور میں نے ابو کے کان میں جا کر کہا، “ابو، اگر ڈاکٹر سدرہ ہمارے اپنے ہی گھر میں ہوتیں تو آپ کا کتنا خیال رکھتیں؟ ، آپکا بلڈ پریشر اور شوگر وقت پر چیک کرتی، اور آپ کو دوائی وقت پر دیتی،۔

 ابو نے یہ سب سن کر کہا بیٹا تم ٹھیک کہتے ہو لیکن میری

عمر اب شادی کی نہیں ہے کہ میں شادی کروں، اور تمہاری امی بھی تو نہیں مانیں گی۔

Meanwhile, a dispenser called this lady doctor “Dr. Sidra, please

check the report of this patient”.
